Sally Hansen - Showtime & gradient

This is another polish I bought from my blogger friend Danielle.
It's a holo grey polish, it's not linear but super pretty.

It was a bit sheer so I had to apply 3 coats. The formula was a bit liquid but nothing I couldn't handle, and thebrush is excellent.

I had to do something extra so I thought of this gradient with Lorelei's Tiara, which is part of the Eye Candy collection. I don't remember showing this to you so I will do a short description. It' a clear base, with very small silver glitter and larger blue round glitter.

Calvin Klein - Opus & Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

This polish was a present from my friend Ange for my birthday. It's a Calvin Klein polish, that looks almost red in the bottle. On the nail though it's totally a different story. It looks a bit black and only in the sunlight you can see the shimmer.

This is a black jelly base with red shimmer in it. I applied 2 coats but still had bald spots, the formula was a bit glooppy too, hard to manage. Overall I did not like the nail polish. I don't know in terms of durability because I took it off the next day, I found it a bit ugly. Sorry Ange! I have to be honest.

I applied Max Factor Fantasy Fire over it to see how it looks over a dark polish, and I really like it, although, this color brings out more the green part in Fantasy Fire, the previous one was all about the pink.

I've decided to leave the photos small because of the hideous cuticules I have in these pictures, that I only noticed now, when I started working on them, and it's too late to take new pictures. If you really want to see them upclose you can click on the picture, but be warned.

Margaret Astor 070 & Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

As some of you who follow me on Instagram might have noticed, I went to London this weekend, and there they sell Max Factor, because here they don't. We don't have Margaret Astor here either, I got this from my friends when they came over.

So the base is Margaret Astor 070 I think because there was no label on the bottle, only something really small on the cap. It's a blue cream, leaning on the neon side. I applied two coats of this and had some trouble with the application, the formula dragged, and I got stuck with bald spots, but finally I was able to cover them.

I applied on top two coats of Max Factor Fantasy Fire. This is a jelly blue base, very transparent blue, with little duochrome shimmer that shifts from green to pink, looks a bit like Clarins 230, and since I am not crazy to pay 100$ for it, I can settle for this polish, that cost 4£.

Love it, and looks amazing over blue, I am thinking about trying it over black.

L'oreal - Rebel blue n°610

This is the other L'oreal polish I was telling you about yesterday. It's a strong blue, with blue shimmer inside.
This one was a one coater, but I chose to add another. I found it a bit more goowy than the other one, but still had no troubles on the application.

The shimmer in this is very visible in sunlight, less in the shadow, but it is still there.
I love the color, and a blogger colegue Mihaela from Romania, told me these are on sale at DM, for 9 lei. So I will buy more when I go there, because that is like 2€, so you can see the difference  France 7€ because we can, and Romania 2€.

Here are the photos:

L'oreal -Cosmic Green n°807

Ever since these came out I've wanted to try them. These are a Monoprix exclusive I think, because I haven't seen these anywhere else.

This is kind of the low cost nail polish from L'oreal. I love them, small little bottles of all colors it's like a rainbow!! Just look at them:
Je crois que c'est le gamme de vernis low cost de chez L'oreal. Je les adore, des petites bouteilles de toutes les couleurs comme un arc-en-ciel!! Regardez:

But I do find them a bit expensive even for a low cost brand, they're 7€ a 5ml bottle, it's actually more expensive than OPI bottles because those are 14€ for 15ml. The comparison is made between prices here in France. If you make a small calculus 7€/5=1.4€/ml, and if we want to see how much a full bottle would cost 1.4€*15=21€!!!!! That's the price of a Chanel nail polish or Dior!!!

So I bought 2 nail polishes from Monoprix, with 10% off, for testing. The first one I am going to introduce to you is Cosmic Green. It's a scarab green, so a duochrome. It goes from green to yellow depending on the light.

This was two coats, and it applied a little streaky. Otherwise the application was pretty good I love the brush!!

From what I can tell it is very good quality, hasn't chipped hasn't worn and I have been wearing it for 3 days. It does not shrink with Seche vite either. And here are the photos:
De ce que je me rend compte jusqu'à maintenant le vernis est de bonne qualité cela n'as pas écaillé et ni usé au bout des ongles, depuis 3 jours que je le porte. Et cela n'as pas rétréci avec Seche vite non plus, donc c'est un plus pour moi.  Et voici les photos:

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps

This nailpolish is kind of a legend and it was hard to find, until they restocked at transdesign and had to grab it. I had seen this one on so many blogs, and it looked amazing, so you get to see it here too.

It is a red jelly base, with amazing small red glitter, that has a weird depth to it. We haven't been having very good weather here, so I couldn't capture the true beauty of this nail polish, but I did my best.

It applied very well, and it only needs two coats to become opaque because of the glitter I think.

China Glaze - Full spectre

This was my second choice from the Prismatic collection, and it is I guess a base of pink small glitter, and it also has multicolored glitter.

I don't see the duochrome in this. I thought that it was a duochrome when I bought it but hey it's still a nice glitter.

This was 2 coats and that about covers it. I wasn't too exited about this color.

Oh and I forgot to tell you that this polish chipped in like one day on a lot of my nails. Don't know why, because the other one, did not do that

What I would wear Series 1 episode 3

I haven't done one of these in ages. So here it is the outfit:
Dress: Asos - I think it was 25€, but I don't think they sell this anymore.
Shoes: André - I bought these on sale for I don't remember how much last year in spring.
Bracelet: Mango - I bought this just a few days ago on sale for like 2€
Bag: Minelli - I saw this on sale in some stores but in orange.
Collar: H&M - they still have this in stores it was like 4€ - I just love wearing this thing, it completely transforms an outfit, makes it pop instantly, a simple shirt becomes chic.

Chanel Coco Blue gradient

Hey, everyone!!
We recentely had a nice 2 weeks of 20% off at Sephora, and I just had to buy this nail polish, I had been craving for ages. So I got it at a more decent price.

This is a blue creme with blue shimmer, just lovely. And i loved the way it suited my skintone too. Although it chipped in two days, don't know if it was because of the polish or what, because I don't recall doing anything different than usually.

It applied nicely, but after two coats I still had some bald spots and I chose to leave it that way, because it wasn't that obvious.

I decided to do another gradient, since they've become a huge favourite of mine, with China Glaze Ray-diant.
