Milani 3D - Hi - Res

Since I'm on a holo streak I might as well continue with these. Along with Cyberspace I ordered this on Cherry Culture which I love by the way, they have all the Milanis, LA Girl, Sinful Colors and lots of other nail polish brands, that I love. They often have 20% off on lots of products, my order was an offer for Valentine's day, so I definitely recommend this site. My products arrived safely without any damage.
So back to my Milani - as I have said before - I looooooove holos!! everything about them is so perfect and the effect is awesome, not to mention how easy it is to remove them.
Here are the photos - this is 2 coats.

Guest post - Cristina does nails - Color Club - Love 'em/ Leave 'em

Hi everyone!!
Today I have another guest post from Cristina, she's been on a roll recently. Here she is raving about this holo from Color Club, which is also on my wishlist by the way. I don't own any Color Club yet, but I sure hope to sometime soon.

"This is yet another new brand for me, my first Colour Club nail polish and I think it will definitely not be the last!

This is truly a “petite merveille”. So gorgeous and so special! The base is a nice caramel shade (more on the nude side) with lots and lots of holo fine shimmer in it. So beautiful!

The application was perfect, and you know what? It’s a perfect ONE coater. Excellent drying time, super wear – survived a volleyball match! ;)

Here I am wearing one coat of Love em/ Leave ‘em + one coat of Seche Vite."

Milani - Cyberspace

Sorry about the lack of posts this weekend, I was away, visiting my in-laws, and didn't quite have the time to do any.
Today's polish is one of my favourites a beautiful blue holo, from the 3D collection.
I looooooooove holos!!!
They are opaque in two coats, and sooooooo easy to remove, easier than a cream I would say.
The wear wasn't great but it is definitely worth it.
This was 2 coats, and top coat. I couldn't quite catch the colour very accurately because I didn't have a sunny day but I think I did a good job considering.
And bonus my cat drying in the dish thing. I washed it afterwards of course.

Guest post - Cristina does nails - Essie Kisses and bises over Topless and Barefoot

Cristina recently received a big order, and I think she got lots of Essies, she is so excited about these that she reviewed two at once. Here's what she had to say:
"Hello everyone,

This is my first Essie and wanted to share with you my discovery!

Topless and Barefoot is one of the nudes releas

ed by Essie for the 2011 Spring Collection. It’s a beautiful nude cream, more on the pink base, a bit streaky on the first coat, but everything gets better with the second one. I was very delighted with the finish - porcelain like! Veery cute and very spring-ish! Loved it.

On the second day of wear I decided to add on top of it one coat of Essie Kisses and Bises. Kisses and Bises on itself is very sheer and not very interesting for a person who loves plain colour on her nail. It has however a very beautiful a pearly shine, reflecting pink

Layering it over Topless and Barefoot produced an excellent combo!! Just amazing. I so loved wearing that mani! Such a delicate colour, it screams “spring”!

I’ll now let you enjoy the pictures!!"

Opi - new releases

OPI is releasing some new collections:

First up is Femme de Cirque - it's a collection of pinks, it will be available in april.

Opi is also releasing two new Serena Williams Glam Slam duo-packs, the first one I'm sure you've already heard of - "Sparck de Triomphe" - contains a white shatter and a pretty graysh sparckle. The second one - "Rally Pretty Pink" I was not able to find an image online but it will contain a red shatter and a kind of pink glitter. i'm so sorry I don't have a picture of the second one, but a red shatter !!! Can't wait for this!! Apparently it will be available in may.
Sorry about this image but it's the best I could find.

Sinful Colors - Mint Apple

I know Cristina's already shown you this, in one of her guest posts on my blog, but I liked it so much that I bought it for myself, and I don't regret this one bit.
I become more and more impressed with Sinful colors formula with each polish I buy. This one is a beautiful pistachio green cream, with subtle green shimmer. The application was perfect, and the drying time top notch, with Seche of course. I had a little disappointment in Seche, because it shrinks some of my polishes, this one is the case.
I added a top coat of KIKO 232, just for fun, and because I am me and I always feel the need to polish. Click on the images for a larger view

Milani Silver Dazzle and Glaze Crackle Lightning bolt

And the last of the one coat milani glitters, and my least favourite, not because of the quality or anything, just the color is not my thing, I prefer colors that are ... colors, I don't like grays and blacks for nail polish.
But this is some good quality glitter polish anyways, and for the fun I added a coat of Crackle Glaze.

Birthday mani - Manucure d'anniversaire

So today it's my birthday and I decided to do a festive mani. I choose Gold Glitz from Milani. It's one of the one coat glitters that I ordered on Cherry Culture, and as I love them all, and find them all very festive, I thought I'd give this one a try since I hadn't tried it on yet.
Just like her sisters great application and love the small glitter, makes it more subtle. This one is gold and I can spot red sparkles in there too.
Clik on the photos to enlarge. Bonus a photo of my cat Mumu.

Milani Purple Gleam and Crackle Glaze Lightning bolt

Sorry I've been mixing them up like this, but I've got so much new stuff, and am in such a rush to try them all, so this is why you are seeing one Milani one Yves Rocher, and bla bla.
Today it's another one of the one coat glitters that I really adore, these are the best glitters ever. They are not as flashy as a normal glitter, but so much prettier.
This is a purple and black small glitter, that dries off tp a gritty finish, and one coat is enough.
I put on a coat of top coat, and then thought I'd try my new Crackle Glaze Lightning Bolt. And I got this amazing result - I went by the Kiko store to buy some nail polish for my swap with Carolina from Colores de Carol (whom I adore she is always so nice to me), and the sellers were raving about my mani - I felt so good!!
So here are the photos:
